He is a well known businessman based in Kolkata. He has extensive knowledge of business related to export and import of goods. In 2007, he has taken over the management of PMO Komex, a refractory plant situated in Poland. He is also a Director of Punalur Paper Mills Limited and several Private Limited Companies.
