Sub-entry Nozzle/Sub-entry Shroud is used to control flow of liquid steel from "Tundish to Mould". It prevents re-oxidation of steel between the tundish and the mould.

Submerged Entry Nozzle/Submerged Entry Shroud is manufactured in Alumina Carbon (Al₂O₃-C) quality and it is Isostatically pressed. Special protective coating is applied to provide oxidation resistance and decarburisation.
